"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire."

William Butler Yeats

No Uniform Day
Our No Uniform day on Friday November 29 was a great success raising €687 and the girls as always looked great in their Winter Woolies.

Used Clothing Collection
Thanks to everyone who supported our used clothing collection on Wednesday 20th November. We had a great response and raised €584 which will be used to benefit the girls in the school.

Violin
classes are up and running and there’s a great air of confidence from all the girls this year.

Some of our students who graduated from Soill Bhride in 2013 participated in the Scoil Mhuire mass on RTE TV in Dec 2013. They started their violin in Scoil Bhride. We are all proud of them.

New School Building Our building project is progressing very well. The design team has been appointed. The Team visited the school on Thursday 20th September to carry out a site inspection. They hope to have a design drawn up by early January 2013. The plan is to refurbish the present building and build an extension comprising 10 mainstream classrooms. This would give us accommodation for 24 mainstream classes. We currently have 16. I will keep you up to date on developments.
